18/06/2004 European Digital Rights (EDRi) Members of European Digital Rights have joined forces to defend civil rights in the information society. The need for cooperation among European organizations is increasing as more regulation regarding the internet, copyright and privacy is originating from the European Union.

09/04/2003 Internet Service Providers' Association UK (ISPA UK) The Internet Services Providers' Association (ISPA UK) is the UK's Trade Association for providers of Internet services. ISPA's main activity is in making representations on behalf of the industry to Government bodies, such as the Home Office, the Department of Trade and Industry and Oftel. Government and political representatives often approach ISPA for its knowledge and expertise.

01/04/2003 Privacy International (PI) Privacy International (PI) is a human rights group formed in 1990 as a watchdog on surveillance by governments and corporations. PI is based in London, England, and has an office in Washington, D.C. PI has conducted campaigns throughout the world on issues ranging from wiretapping and national security, to ID cards, video surveillance, data matching, police information systems, medical privacy, and freedom of information and expression.
